My friend Dan, totally out of the blue, gave me a page of a really old bible, with a hand coloured illustration on it. I got it framed.

It’s of Jeremiah being lowered down a well because he prophesied that Jerusalem was going to fall into the hands of the Babylonians. A perfect reminder that sometimes doing the right thing can have bad consequences, but in the end, God is in control!

And it’ll look cool on the wall…
